Creating a Training

The basics
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Title | What volunteers will see in their list |
| Description | What this covers and why it's required |
| Due date | When it needs to be finished by |
| Tags | Optional labels for organizing a growing library |
Content items
A training is built from Content Items, added one at a time with Add Content. Each item has a Type:
| Type | What you provide |
|---|---|
| Video | A video file to upload, or a URL |
| Document (PDF) | A PDF to upload |
| Link | A URL to material hosted elsewhere |
Uploads show Uploading file... while they transfer, then display the selected file name.
Items appear as Item 1, Item 2, and so on, in the order you add them — so add them in the order you want them worked through.
The quiz
A training can end with a quiz. Each question has:
- The question itself
- A set of options
- The correct answer
- A type — either multiple choice or true/false
You also set a pass threshold: the proportion of questions someone must get right to pass.
A quiz is what makes completion mean something
Without one, "completed" only records that somebody opened the material. If this training exists because your insurer or your elders need evidence people understood it, include a quiz.
Tap Save. You'll see Saving... while it commits.
