Leadership Overview
Overview
The Leadership module displays key church leaders so members can easily identify who serves in various roles.
Typical roles include:
- Office Staff
- Preachers
- Deacons
- Elders
Leaders automatically appear in this module once they are assigned a leadership group in the Directory.
Assign a Member to Leadership
Only App Admins can assign leadership roles.
- Open the Directory module.
- Locate and tap the member’s name.
- Tap the pencil icon in the app bar to enter edit mode.
- Tap the pencil icon next to the member’s name.
- Assign the member to the appropriate leadership group.
- Tap the checkmark to save.
The member will automatically appear in the Leadership module.
Edit Leadership Descriptions
App Admins can also describe each role’s responsibilities.
- Open the Leadership module.
- Tap the pencil icon in the app bar.
- Edit the description for each leadership role.
- Tap the checkmark to save.
Important Notes
- Leaders are shown based on their assigned group in the Directory.
- Removing a leadership group from a member will remove them from the Leadership module.
- Members cannot assign themselves to leadership roles.
