Leadership Overview

Overview

The Leadership module displays key church leaders so members can easily identify who serves in various roles.

Typical roles include:

  • Office Staff
  • Preachers
  • Deacons
  • Elders

Leaders automatically appear in this module once they are assigned a leadership group in the Directory.


Assign a Member to Leadership

Only App Admins can assign leadership roles.

  1. Open the Directory module.
  2. Locate and tap the member’s name.
  3. Tap the pencil icon in the app bar to enter edit mode.
  4. Tap the pencil icon next to the member’s name.
  5. Assign the member to the appropriate leadership group.
  6. Tap the checkmark to save.

The member will automatically appear in the Leadership module.


Edit Leadership Descriptions

App Admins can also describe each role’s responsibilities.

  1. Open the Leadership module.
  2. Tap the pencil icon in the app bar.
  3. Edit the description for each leadership role.
  4. Tap the checkmark to save.

Important Notes

  • Leaders are shown based on their assigned group in the Directory.
  • Removing a leadership group from a member will remove them from the Leadership module.
  • Members cannot assign themselves to leadership roles.
