Streams
Streams is a shortlist of your church's YouTube videos, shown inside the app so members can watch the live service or a past one without leaving ChurchNET and hunting through a channel.
Streams vs. Video
These two modules sound alike and do different jobs:
| Streams | Video | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the video lives | YouTube | Uploaded to ChurchNET |
| What you add | A YouTube link | A video file |
| Best for | Churches already streaming to YouTube | Building a searchable sermon library |
If your church already streams to YouTube every Sunday, Streams is the quicker path. If you want sermons stored in ChurchNET with speaker and series details — and available to Ask AI — use Video.
Nothing stops you using both.
Adding a video
Administrators tap to add one:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Title | What members see in the list — for example Sunday Service - March 16 |
| YouTube Video ID or URL | Either the full YouTube address or just the ID, such as dQw4w9WgXcQ |
Tap Save.
If the link can't be read you'll see Could not parse a valid YouTube video ID. That usually means a channel or playlist address was pasted instead of a single video — open the video itself on YouTube and copy the address from there.
A church with nothing added yet sees No videos yet.
Removing a video
Choose delete on the entry. A confirmation asks Are you sure you want to remove this video?
Removing it here only takes it off the list in the app. The video stays on YouTube.
