Creating Your Church

Setting up a congregation takes a few minutes. You'll need a Create Church Code before you start.

Step 1 — Create your account​

Download ChurchNET from the App Store or Google Play, then sign up.

See Downloading the App if you haven't installed it yet.

Step 2 — Get your Create Church Code​

Creating a congregation is gated by a code, so that churches are set up deliberately rather than by anyone who downloads the app.

Contact ChurchNET to get yours. If you're already talking to someone about a trial, ask them — they'll have it.

Step 3 — Fill in your congregation's details​

Choose Create Church and complete the form:

Tap Create.

Get the address right

The address here places your building on the Member Map and is what members see in Church Info. Fixing it later means correcting it in more than one place.

If something goes wrong you'll see Could not create church. Please try again.

Step 4 — Turn on the modules you need​

A new church starts with only Directory and Church Info enabled. Everything else is opt-in.

Go to Module Management and switch on what your congregation will actually use. Turning on all twenty-five at once gives members a cluttered home screen and no idea where to start — add them as you're ready to use them.
