Birthdays & Anniversaries Overview

Overview​

The Birthdays & Anniversaries module allows your church to celebrate both birthdays and anniversaries in one place.

It combines the information from the Directory and presents upcoming celebrations in a single, easy-to-view list.

The tile is labeled Birthdays + Anniv on the home screen, and the screen itself is titled Celebrations. They are the same thing.

If you'd rather keep the two lists separate, the Birthdays and Anniversaries modules do exactly that — enable those instead of this one.

How It Works​

  • Dates are pulled directly from the Directory.
  • Both birthdays and anniversaries appear together.
  • Entries are shown in chronological order based on the upcoming date.
  • The list automatically updates throughout the year.

No additional setup is required once dates are entered in the Directory.

Important Notes​

  • If a birthday or anniversary does not appear, verify the date is entered correctly in the Directory.
  • Only users with permission to edit Directory information can add or change these dates.
  • Tapping an entry opens that person's directory record. If the link can't be resolved you'll see Unable to find a matching directory entry.
  • A church with no upcoming dates sees No celebrations found.
