Prayer Requests
Prayer Requests give members a direct, private way to ask the church to pray — without having to catch someone in the hallway or work up the nerve to say it out loud before the closing prayer.
Submitting a request
- Open Prayer Request from your home screen.
- Type into the Prayer Request box.
- Tap Submit Prayer Request.
You'll see Prayer request submitted successfully.
Two things will stop a submission:
- An empty box — Please enter your prayer request.
- Not being signed in — You must be signed in to submit a prayer request.
Who sees it
Requests go to the members your administrators have designated as recipients, and to the ministry address if one is configured. They are not posted publicly in the app.
If your church wants prayer requests read from the pulpit or printed in a bulletin, that's a decision someone makes after reading them — the app doesn't publish them on its own.
During attendance
Your church can also collect prayer requests while attendance is being taken, so a card handed down a pew makes it into the same place as one typed into the app. Administrators control this with the Attendance setting described in Managing Requests.
