Registration

How a member registers

  1. Open the event from the Events list.
  2. Choose to register. The screen confirms who you're signing up as — Registering as: {name}.
  3. Answer any questions the event asks.
  4. Submit.

If the event allows family registration, one person can sign up several household members in a single pass. If it allows guest registration, someone without a ChurchNET account can register too.

Changing or cancelling

A registered member can return to the event and choose Delete registration. A confirmation appears — Delete registration? — before anything is removed, and the screen reports Registration deleted. when it's done.

Registration questions

Beyond a name, most events need something specific: a shirt size, a dietary restriction, whether a parent can drive.

Administrators open Registration Questions on the event and tap + to add one. An event with none shows No questions yet. Tap + to add one.

Each question has:

  • Question label — the wording members read
  • Field key — the short internal name this answer is stored under; it's what identifies the answer in exports and on the check-in screen
  • Question type — how members answer

Changing a question's type after registrations have come in makes the answers already collected hard to read. Decide up front.
