Guest & Kiosk Links

Attendance doesn't have to be typed in by one person after the fact. The module provides two web links that let people record themselves.

Both are found in the Attendance admin area, each with Copy link and Open buttons.

A link visitors can fill in themselves — on their own phone, from a QR code on a pew card, or from a tablet at the welcome desk.

Copying it reports Guest attendance link copied to clipboard.

Guests who come in this way are recorded as guests, so they flow into Guest Management the same as if you'd tagged them by hand.

Put it on a card, not just a screen

The most reliable version of this is a small card in the pew with a QR code pointing at the guest link. Visitors fill it in while they're sitting there, rather than being asked for details at the door.

A link meant to be left open on a device at the building — a tablet by the entrance or in the foyer.

Copying it reports Kiosk attendance link copied to clipboard.

The difference from the guest link is the setting: the kiosk stays open and is used by person after person, rather than being opened once on somebody's own phone.

Anyone with the address can open them. That's deliberate — a visitor can't sign in, so the link can't require an account.

It does mean you should treat them as semi-public: fine to print on a pew card or a foyer sign, less fine to post on a public website where they'll be found by people who've never been near your building.
