Set a member as an App Admin

An App Admin has full access to every module and setting, and is the only role that can change other people's permissions.

This is the highest level of access

An App Admin can read every member's details, send to the whole congregation, and grant or remove anyone else's access — including yours. Give it to people who need it, and to more than one person, but not to everyone who asks.

If someone only needs to manage one area, grant them that module instead. See Module Permissions.

Steps

  1. Open the Admin Permissions tile on your home screen.
  2. Find the person in the list, or tap the add person button in the bottom-right to search for someone who has no admin role yet.
  3. Tap the pencil beside their name to open the permission editor.
  4. Turn App Admin on — the switch is labeled Full access to all modules.
  5. Tap Save.

The change takes effect immediately. The person doesn't need to restart the app.

Removing App Admin

Open the same editor, switch App Admin off, and clear any module permissions you don't want them to keep. Save.

Don't remove the last one

Make sure at least one other App Admin exists before removing someone's access — including your own. Only an App Admin can grant the role back.
